The Bills’ Micah Hyde is leading the fan vote among AFC strong safeties for the Pro Bowl, the NFL announced Wednesday.
Hyde has 40,321 votes through the early stages of fan voting, which continues through Dec. 14. Fans can cast their votes at www.nfl.com/probowlvote or via social media.
The 88 players for the Pro Bowl are determined by a combination of votes from fans, players and coaches with each group worth a third of the total. Players and coaches cast their votes Dec. 15.
Rosters will be announced Dec. 19.
Hyde, who has five interceptions, is the lone Bills player listed as the leader at his position.
Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz leads all players with 273,367 votes. He is followed by New England QB Tom Brady at 239,989 votes, Pittsburgh running back Le’Veon Bell (227,771), Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley (215,687) and Pittsburgh wide receiver Antonio Brown (215,584).
