(KUTV) Two children had been injured struck in a crosswalk , injuring just one of them critically.
Police claimed a 61-12 months-old gentleman was turning left to head westbound on 11800 South at 5150 W., and did not see 3 small children, all in between 7 and 9 many years aged, who ended up crossing the street with the right of way. He hit two of them with his vehicle but remained on the scene and was cooperative with law enforcement.
Officer Sam Winkler with the South Jordan Law enforcement Section claimed there were no apparent indications of impairment.
A boy who was struck was addressed at the scene of the accident with minimal accidents but a younger lady had more substantial accidents and was flown to Main Kid’s Clinical Middle in critical situation, according to Winkler. He said the injuries were not thought of life threatening, in spite of her listing in essential problem.
